On Wednesday, I noticed I already smelled when I hadn’t even gotten on my treadmill yet. I did a little web searching and realized that the odor was from sweat build up.
I also read that it can be prevented if you soak your clothes after your workout and wash immediately. This is pretty inconvenient for me, maybe if I was single and I had no kids to tend to it wouldn’t seem that way.
To start, fill a sink with hot water and 1 cup baking soda, put your clothes in the baking soda water and soak for an hour. Then wring the clothes out and fill your sink with hot water and 1 cup of white vinegar, soak your clothes in this solution for an hour.
After your clothes have finished the second soak, wring out the excess vinegar water, wash in hot water with your normal laundry detergent. They should no longer have a funky smell.
